Charice Silverman received her MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2007.
She was lucky enough to have Judith Linhares as her thesis advisor and Marshall Arisman as chairman of the department.
Charice returned to school in Manhattan in 2005 after nearly 10 years as a publication designer, layout artist and production director, in such far off places as Prague, Czech Republic. She freelances in design, illustration and lettering in New York City. She also does paintings on commission.
Though often seen in front of a Mac, she still thinks there's something just that extra special about a painted piece, to remind us we're human.
